Funding gaps should not determine whether a case can access modern forensic tools or reach the public. Our funding programs provide targeted financial support to investigative agencies and families throughout the United States.

For law enforcement and investigative agencies

DNA Testing Program

Season of Justice provides financial support for advanced DNA testing that can help develop new investigative leads in cold cases. Approved funding may support forensic genetic genealogy, next-generation sequencing, and other advanced DNA analysis performed by qualified private forensic laboratories.
Through our direct-to-vendor model, Season of Justice pays approved forensic service providers directly. This approach reduces administrative delays while supporting accountability and responsible stewardship of donor funds.

For families impacted by unsolved violent crime

Public Awareness
Campaign Grant Program

Season of Justice helps eligible families and victims of crime develop public awareness campaigns based on verified case information.
Funding and hands-on support may be used for digital advertising, print materials, billboards, social media, and other strategic outreach intended to renew attention and encourage credible tips.
