Anna and Raul Perez – Bleu

It is my belief that Dr. Lisa Hull is truly an angel on earth. We didn’t know what to expect with an at-home euthanasia, and we were overwhelmed by having to make this heartbreaking decision. Dr. Lisa gently reassured us that the timing was right and gave us peace in knowing that our beloved Bleu would be comfortable at home, in his bed, as he took his final nap.

Everything she did was with such care and intention—from her soft knock at the door, to sitting side by side with us, asking about Bleu’s wonderful life, and even crying with us. She gave us space when we needed it, and she was so patient and understanding with our 11-year-old who wanted to be part of the moment.

What could have been an unbearable experience, she made bearable—with compassion, grace, and love. We will forever be grateful to her for guiding us through this with such tenderness.
